We’ve talked about children’s fear of the dark before, but this is such an ongoing problem for many of us, so we thought we’d revisit it. After all, sleep deprivation is no one’s friend!
In a study by Muris et al 2001 children aged 4 -12 and their parents were interviewed about children's night time fears. Results showed that 73.3% of the children were afraid of the dark.

It’s worth noting that red lights aren’t just used to help with sleep, there have been thousands of medical studies published about red light therapy.
Almost everyone has a nightmare once in a while so we all know how scary and real they can feel. As a parent we also hate to see our little ones terrified in the middle of the night of some perceived danger that is hiding from them in the dark.
